I will be the next Prime Minister: Mahinda

Since the dissolvement of the parliament group of United Peoples Freedom Alliance parliamentarians met former president Mahinda Rajapaksa while at his Mirihana residence in Nugegoda.

At the meeting former minister Johnston Fernando stated that he will request people to cast their votes to former president and elect him as the new prime minister of this country.

Former parliamentarians and the former defence secretary Gotabaya Rajapaksa were also present at this meeting.

Speaking at the meeting former president expressed confident over being the next prime minister of this country and requested MPs to return home without any fear, Sinhala media reports.
