Senior actor critically ill

Senior actor Vinu Chakravarthy who has been acting in Tamil films since 1980s in character, villain and comic roles has been hospitalized yesterday due to high blood pressure and diabetes. The veteran has been admitted in a private hospital in Vadapalani, Chennai and he is still in unconscious state as per hospital sources and is said to be in a critical stage.

Vinu Chakravarthy has shared screen space with the doyen Sivaji Ganesan and has acted with Superstar Rajinikanth in as many as 25 films that include ‘Guru Sishyan’, ‘Rajadhi Raja’, ‘Mappillai’. ‘Annamalai’, and ‘Arunachalam’. He has also acted in many films with Kamal Haasan in the 80s.
